FlamePOS runs the counter, the kitchen and the back office from a single system, with fiscal receipting for the Vanuatu Sales Monitoring System built in rather than bolted on. It keeps its own database on your own computer, so the shop keeps trading whether or not the internet does.

One installation covers both sides of the business, so a shop with a kitchen and a grocery aisle does not need two systems.
Sales are fiscalised through the Vanuatu Sales Monitoring System. Fiscal records and daily reports are produced from the till itself.
Table plans, dine in, take away and home delivery, with orders routed to a kitchen display or printer as they are settled.
Counter sales, a sales floor and a back warehouse, wholesale pricing and stock movement between spaces.
PostgreSQL is installed alongside the application and kept private to your shop. No sale depends on a connection to anyone else.
Install one computer as the store server and enrol further tills against it, each holding its own licensed seat.
English, Bislama, French and Chinese, chosen during installation and changeable afterwards from the back office.

Paying monthly. Starter and Shop can be paid by the month — 4,000 VUV and 9,000 VUV — for a shop that would rather not pay a year at once. Paying for the year costs several months less — about four and a half on Starter, more than six on Shop.

Help by telephone, email or remote connection is free. The 5,000 VUV is for coming to the shop, and on-site visits are made in Port Vila only.
Every installation runs for 30 days free before a licence is needed. When you are ready, open Back Office → Admin → Licence → Request a licence in the application: it lists the plans and prepares the request, including the installation code your licence is issued against.
Two things are not on the list above, because they depend on what you need:
Write to the2.71828@gmail.com with the number of tills and what you are trying to do. A quotation is free and commits you to nothing.
Back Office now has a separate Data Analysis menu with daily charts, product, category, group, supplier and staff summaries, searchable payments and refunds, stock reconciliation, and CSV export. The existing Reports menu is retained.
Click a summary row to open details. Applied filters remain visible, and Back restores the previous tab and filters. Cash refunds can be found by payment method and exact amount.

Downloads are by invitation. You will be asked for the code you were given; each code is good for one download. If you do not have one, write to the2.71828@gmail.com.
Asks how this computer will be used — one till, a store server, or a till joining a server — then installs the package for you. It is also how a store server with no desktop is set up.

You do not normally need this: the installer fetches it and checks it against the checksum below. Take it if the till has no internet, and put it in the same folder as the installer.
Check what you downloaded. This software issues fiscal receipts,
so it is worth confirming the file is the one we published. On Windows run
certutil -hashfile <file> SHA256; on Linux run
sha256sum <file>, and compare the result with the value above.
The update is signed. A till checks the signature and this checksum before it installs anything, and refuses a file that does not match.
The installer sets up the application and its database together. You will need administrator rights on the computer.

That is the whole installation. It offers to download
FlamePOS itself, checks what arrives against the published checksum, then
asks how this computer will be used, which of its addresses the other tills
should use, and the enrolment passphrase. If you already downloaded the
package, put it in the same folder and it will be used instead.sudo flamepos-setupUpdating an existing installation? Run the same command again: it offers to upgrade the installation and keep its records, or to set it aside and start afresh. There is no need to uninstall first, and the database is backed up before anything is replaced.
